Title: Platform for Dialogue (P4D) Project.

Executing agency: British Council Bangladesh, 5 Fuller Road, Dhaka-1000

Project period: 2017-2018

Objectives: To strengthen democratic ownership and improve accountability mechanisms in Bangladesh by empowering citizens and civil society to participate meaningfully in decision-making processes with the Government, through its Platform for Dialogue (P4D) Project.

Activities:

1. Provided comprehensive support to the Project Management Unit (PMU) in all aspects of procurement, including planning, tendering, and contract management, for a total fund of Euro 14 million.

2. Procured non-consulting services worth EURO 2 million.

3. Prepared the cost estimates, technical specifications, contract packages, Procurement plan, processing schedules, bidding documents for the large-value Multi-services Framework Contract for procuring non-consulting services.

4. Invited bids over newspaper and web-portal, conducted pre-bid meetings, carried out evaluation of bids, wrote evaluation reports and awarded the contracts to the lowest responsive bidders.
