Activity: IPLS Executive Director took part in the execution of the project. Preparation of bidding documents, Bid security and bid validity, pre-bid conference, submission receipt and opening of tenders, Preliminary Examination of Bids, Technical Evaluation, TEC Meeting, Approval of Tender, Notification of Awards (NOA) and sinning of contract agreement and contract management, Opening of Letter of credit, Pre and post shipment inspections, Shipment and receipt of goods, Final payment and return of bid/ performance Security, Prepare bid opening minutes, Examination of bids and prepare report, Prepare Technical evaluation report

Outcome: The age-old procurement system of UPHCSDP has been modernized by introducing The procurement principles such as preparing bid documents, use of committee for bid opening, evaluation, bid validity, bid security, rejection of tenders, approval, awarding, contract management, Specification, Advertisement, qualification of bidders and records and appeal and complain introduced. The ground of selection procurement methods such as ICB, NCB, quotations and other methods introduced. The procurement department applying the update principles, process and method improved a lot.
