Title: Services for Children at Risk (SCAR) Project.

Executing agency: Department of Social Services (DSS), Ministry of Social Welfare (MoSW), the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Project Cost: USD 13 Million.

Project period: 2012-2013

Donor agency: The World Bank.

Objectives: The aim of the project is to improve access to quality and relevant services for children at risk in urban areas.

Activities: Procured essential items such as food, clothing, blankets, and medical supplies through a framework contract and 15 individual packages. Additionally, we oversaw the procurement of civil works through International Competitive Bidding (ICB) processes. Conducted procurement training and workshops for Deputy Project Managers and Accounts Officers to enhance their skills and knowledge in procurement procedures and best practices.
